The GSI 1973-1987 C10 Air Ride Front Kit replaces the factory front crossmember, control arm mounts, and steering with a modern air ride system. The design allows the truck to lay frame, something the OEM front suspension cannot achieve.

A modern power rack and pinion replaces the factory steering system, delivering tighter response, improved control, and more predictable steering throughout suspension travel, while remaining 100% bolt-in for simplified installation.

Engineered for Frame Laying & Ride Quality  

Designed and manufactured at our facility in Chandler, Arizona, this front air ride suspension system is built using laser-cut & CNC-formed ASTM A1011 parts to ensure proper fitment and consistent results from install to final alignment.

Updated suspension geometry improves ride quality, minimizes camber change through suspension travel, and reduces bump steer, maintaining stable alignment at ride height and when aired out. The narrowed front track width provides improved wheel clearance, while the wheel position is relocated within the wheel opening for a more balanced, centered appearance.

• Spindle options:

- CPP Stock Spindles – Factory height spindle with the spindle pin located at the bottom, maintaining original suspension geometry and ride height.

- CPP 2.5" Modular Drop Spindles (Big Brake) - Lowers the vehicle 2.5" using a high-strength modular hub design. This spindle is purpose-built for maximum clearance, allowing for seamless installation of high-performance 13"–14" Big Brake kits.

- CPP 2.5" Modular Drop Spindles with 6087DBK (Stock & Big Brake) -  The 6087DBK bracket gives you a 2.5" drop while keeping your 12" Stock Brakes. If you decide to go to a 14" Big Brake kit down the road, you simply unbolt the bracket, and you're ready to grow—saving you the cost of a second set of spindles.
