This coilover back half kit is designed for 1973-1987 Chevy & GMC Squarebody trucks and replaces the factory rear frame and suspension with a fully engineered 4-link coilover system. It is ideal for builders looking for aggressive ride height and improved handling without the complexity of air ride systems.

The system is constructed from ASTM A1011 hot-rolled steel, chosen for its strength, consistency, and excellent weld quality. All structural components are designed to meet or exceed OEM strength while providing the rigidity required for improved suspension performance.

The rear suspension is repositioned inboard to allow clearance for wide wheel and tire setups up to 24" x 15" while preserving proper suspension travel and drivability. Adjustable coilover mounts offer a 4"–8" frame height range, allowing the chassis to be precisely set for stance, handling balance, or competition use.

This back half is designed to be paired with our coilover front suspension kit to create a complete, properly balanced chassis. Installing a front kit alone will lower the front of the truck while the rear remains at stock height until a back half is added. For optimal performance and handling, coilover components should be matched front and rear. While compatibility with other front systems may vary, this back half is engineered to work seamlessly with our coilover front kit for best overall results.
